I initially found Chelsea’s Chimney through a recommendation on the “Everything Frederick” Facebook page. I was searching for a local company to inspect and clean the fireplace(s) at my new home. When I contacted them for the initial call, they were prompt and scheduled for the same week. Upon their inspection, it was determined that one of my chimneys had significant damage and they recommended a full demo & rebuild. Jeremy’s initial consultation was thorough, patient, kind, and informative. I asked a lot of “what-if” questions and he addressed each of them like I was an old family friend. The estimate they provided was detailed, well organized, and easy to understand. Their patience continued as I called for second, third, and fourth opinions. Greg would periodically check in, but never did it cross the line to pushy or pestering. I felt like I had a reliable, knowledgeable friend on speed dial. Additionally, when I called in an insurance adjuster to see if any of the repair would be covered, Greg met the inspector at the house to advocate on my behalf as the industry/contractor expert. When we finally pulled the trigger, I chose Chelsea’s Chimney because they do business the right way. They live by their values. They do things right. The final price was slightly higher than some other companies I consulted with, but ultimately I am thrilled to have paid for their above-and-beyond service, craftmanship, any all the “little things” that make these types of home projects a bit more bearable.
