As a Chimney Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and functionality of our customers’ chimneys.
Responsibilities:
- Install and replace chimney liners, caps, dampers, masonry and other components as necessary.
- Conduct thorough assessments of chimney systems, identifying potential issues or hazards.
- Provide customers with detailed explanations of work performed and recommended repairs or upgrades.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and materials used.
- Adhere to safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient scheduling and completion of jobs.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Chimney Technician.
- In-depth knowledge of tools, materials, and equipment used in chimney maintenance and repair.
- Understanding of chimney codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
